Gurosik's Berry Plantation

Gurosik's Berry Plantation, Inc, a true family farm, is the leading producer of strawberries, hybrid blackberries and related products in the Central Savannah River Area. Enjoy friendly, courteous service, gorgeous flowers, the peaceful relaxing rural atmosphere and farm fresh, tasty, top quality vine ripened fruits and vegetables.

Farm Hours from April to July:

Farm Market hours: Mon-Fri 8am-7pm, Sat 8am-6pm, Sun 1pm-6pm

Roadside Market hours: Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat 9am-6pm

 We accept cash and checks ONLY. We do not accept debit or credit cards.

U-Pick flowers will open on Friday, May 24. Only zinnias will be available. Gladiolas should be available next week.

U-Pick strawberries is open and the berries are beautiful!  Blackberries are expected to be available around the first week of June. Also,our delicious North Carolia blueberries are expected to begin arriving next week.

   Due to abuses of our U-Pick policy, we have been forced to make the following changes:

•  No more than 2 pickers per bucket will be allowed in the field. The only exception to this is for 2 children per adult picker.

•  Please be fair to the farmer and pay for your berries before you eat them. We encourage pickers to sample some berries, but our fields are not a buffet.

•  We do not allow over-filling of the bucket. We allow a generously rounded bucket, but any bucket weighing more than 5.25 pounds will be charged an extra $2.00 per pound.

We regret that we have been forced to make these changes, but we want to ensure an equitable sharing of our farm’s bounty.

Please call our information line at (803) 278-0594 prior to your visit as we may ocasionally have to close to allow the fields to ripen. The answering machine message is changed daily.
